We do a lot for the community every year. The following is just a brief list of several of our projects. Click on the title to get a more detailed description of the project.
Silent Auction The Chesterfield Jaycees will be holding our 2nd Annual Silent Auction on May 21st, 2009 at BlackFinn in Richmond, VA from 7-9. All of the money raised from the silent auction will go towards sending kids to Camp Virginia Jaycees. Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Iron Bridge Park starting at 10:30
The Easter Bunny is coming and will be hiding hundreds of eggs. Last year, it was a beautiful day and all the children found lots of eggs. This year we hope will bring the same success. Right now the weather man is giving a good report.

Jaycees Mid-Week Concert Series
The concert series will be held on the last Wednesdays of the months of June, July and August. The Gates will open at 6:30 and the bands will begin at 7:30. Cost of tickets is $10 unless bought in advance for $8 at Ironbridge Sports Park or Sideline Cafe.

Fourth of July
Every 4th of July, the Chesterfield Jaycees sell glow necklaces and teeth. This is a great fundraiser to help support our community events.

Pig Races
Come out to Brandermill Nursing Home and Assisted Living Care Facility to help the residents race the pigs. The pig races are every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM .

Christmas Shopping Tour
On December 4, 2008, the Chesterfield Jaycees and volunteers from the Christmas Mother met at Target in Chesterfield for a grand morning. Children were invited by the Christmas Mother to join a shopping tour for their families.
This year computers were donated for each family by TechReach. The families couldn't have been happier by the surprise.

Stockings for the Troops
The Chesterfield Jaycces collect donations from friends, family members, coworkers, and anybody else we can find to help out this great cause. We try to send 50 stockings over to the troops every Christmas.

Adopt-a-Highway
The Chesterfield Jaycees have adopted Providence Road between Midlothian Turnpike and Reams Road. We clean the road up twice a year. April 25, 2009 is the next road clean up day on the calendar.

Christmas Tree Lot
Come out and sell Christmas trees to get into the Christmas spirit. Our lot is in front of the Manchester Rescue Squad on the corner of Courthouse and Hull Street.
